Dr. Naseer Habtoor’s seminar for PhD & DBA students

The much awaited event for the PhD & DBA students is knocking at the doorstep of Lincoln University College, when Dr. Naseer Habtoor will discuss about the ways to formulate the research problems. The seminar will be held on Saturday, July 30th , 2016 between 10 am to 2 pm. Career Talk 26th July 2016

Lincoln University College organized a career talk on 26th July 2016 at Mayang Campus for the students of Faculty of Business and Accountancy and Faculty of Computer Science and Multimedia. The career talk was presented by Mr. Scotte Cheong Chee Leong, HR representative, Deloitte. Deloitte is a multinational Professional services firm providing audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk and financial advisory services with more than 225,400 professionals globally. Dr. Abhijit Ghosh, Dean Faculty of Business and Accountancy welcomed the guest speaker. The session covered topics like career options, opportunities in Deloitte, tips on resume writing and interview. End of the session there was a survey for the local students to vote for the preferred employee.

Career Talk

The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, organized a career talk on 26.7.2016 (Tuesday) at Mayang Campus. Mr. Kumar and Mr. Zainul represented Ratu Oceania Raya and spoke on the topic “Opportunities for hospitality students in cruise liners.” Mr. Siva, Head, Hospitality Management welcomed the guest speakers. The careers talk erudite the students of hospitality about the opportunities in cruise liners and about the recruitment process in the cruise jobs.

Certificate Ceremony

The faculty of Nursing organized a short course on “Teaching Strategies for 21st century.”  23 participants from Bhutan arrived on 5th July and they successfully completed the short course. The participants were teachers, leaders of autonomous schools and school support staffs. The certificate ceremony for the Bhutan participants was held on 15th July 2016 (Friday) at Mayang campus. Prof. Datuk Dr.Abdul Gani Bin Mohammed Din, DVC (Academic), Associate Prof. Datin Hafizah Che Hassan handed over the certificates to the participants.
