The Faculty of Dentistry, Centre for Foundation Studies, Faculty of Computer Science and Multimedia, Student Affairs and Dentistry students supported “My Women in Higher Education Day” organized by Ministry of Higher Education on 27th March 2018. The purpose of the event was to give full appreciation to all the women over the world and all the successful women with major contribution towards the society, especially those working under Ministry. Respected Datuk Dr. Hjh Bibi Florina Pro Chancellor also participated the programme. About 10staffs and 3 students joined this programme.
Mr. Ravikumar Katta, Senior Physiotherapist and Senior Lecturer of Physiotherapy Department, Lincoln University College, Malaysia attended The World Conference on Exercise Medicine Scientific Committee Meeting in Dubai held from 18th March to 21st March.
Dr. Asita Elengoe, Head of Biotechnology Department, Faculty of Science and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Satheesh Babu Natarajan, Lecturer, Faculty of Pharmacy, Lincoln University College, Malaysia were invited by Cenetri Publishing Group, USA. They attended a conference on “Global Summit on Reproductive Medicine & Health” which was held on 12th -14th March 2018 at Hotel Sunway Putra, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The conference focused on the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, practical challenges encountered, and the solutions adopted in the field of Reproductive Health, Medicine and Oncology. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Satheesh Babu Natarajan shared his research and views on the theme “Expanding knowledge of reproductive biology to effectively manage individual’s reproductive potential”.
Prof. Dr. Swamy KB, HOD & Professor of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, Lincoln University College, was The Keynote Speaker, Chairperson and Judge In the 14th World Toxicology & Pharmacology Conference Held at Singapore During 12th and 14th March 2018. There He Played A Major Role on Behalf of Lincoln University College. Prof Dr. Swamy the gave a talk on the following topics “Life with Down’s syndrome is no more challenging – rather beautiful” and Nations can slash down the “Infant Mortality rate” (IMR) to a great extent if they implement proper Health care system policies for ante-natal/prenatal and postnatal care for the rural/village level beneficiaries too.”
A workshop on Disaster Management conducted by Rotary Club East Calcutta, Dr. Tarak Nath Poddar Memorial Foundation in collaboration with Lincoln University College, Malaysia was held on 7th March 2018 at Rotary Club of East Calcutta. Mr. Srikrishna Banerjee, Director of Collaborative Studies, Lincoln University College, Dr. Sumit Poddar, President Rotary Club, East Calcutta, and Mr. Ritinkar Dutta, Secretary, Dr. Tarak Nath Podder Meomorial Foundation and other eminent persons were present at the event.
