Inauguration of Industrial Oriented Programs at VLBJCAS

Dr. Vivek Vivekanandam, Faculty of Computer Science & Multemidia, Lincoln University College, Malaysia attended  the Inaugural Function of Industrial Oriented Programs (Hotel Management with Shipping, Aviation, Travel n Tourism and BCA with Cloud Computing) at VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, India as a Chief Guest on November 16, 2021.

Outreach Vaccination Program

On 9th September 2021 Siti Zaharah Rezaly, Corporate Office Department, Lincoln University Malaysia, had a virtual meeting arranged by Dr Rasheed to interact directly with Dental students to volunteer for the ‘Outreach Vaccination Program’ in Bagan Datuk, Perak. With the help of Puan Suganthi, the coordinator of nursing faculty, the students were released and joined to assist with the program. They have worked as a team and from there they move forward.

Training Session on Lincoln Learning System (LLS) for Lecturers

A training session on the Lincoln Learning System (LLS) was successfully held on Saturday, 4 September 2021 at 10.00 am via Zoom. 

The session was very interactive with sharing of issues and challenges faced by lecturers in accessing the LLS and what students may face in the student portal. It is vital that information shared in the LLS is similar to those in the student portal, and hence, the training gave opportunities to all those who attended to gain extra knowledge on preparing teaching notes, lecture materials and other relevant valuable information for the student.

CSR Activity by Lincoln University College, Malaysia

Lincoln University College, Malaysia has been organized a CSR project at Yan, Kedah on September 3-4, 2021 sponsored by Yayasan Pembangunan Anak Yatim Miskin and in cooperation with Jerai community group. Several villages and residential areas around Gunung Jerai were hit by floods which were believed to be caused by water surges from the waterfall areas at the foot of the mountain. In response to the Ministry of Higher Education’s call to the educational institutions to participate in the flood relief mission in Yan, Kedah, Lincoln University College together with the collaboration partner Gogopasar has successfully distributed approximately 80 boxes of basic essential foods to the unfortunate families.
