Volunteering Service (Flood Pandemic) Attended by LUC Students

A community program named Volunteering Service (Flood Pandemic) was organized by Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ) and MPP ZON 22 on December 26, 2021 at Pangsapuri Perdana, Seksyen 13, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. The community program was attended by 21 students from Lincoln University College, Malaysia as the representative from the College.

The community program-based event was focused on areas affected by flood at Pangsapuri Perdana, Seksyen 13, Shah Alam. The program put emphasis on the importance to raise awareness on environmental quality. It also helps future generations to learn the meaning of team work.

MoU Signing Ceremony between Lincoln University College & Government College University

Lincoln University College (LUC), Selangor D. E., Malaysia entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Government College University, Hyderabad (GCUH), Pakistan on December 22, 2021.

The MoU, which seeks to develop the fields of general and higher education, was signed by Prof. Dr. Sandeep Poddar, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation), Lincoln University College, Malaysia and Prof. Dr. Tayyaba Zarif, Vice Chancellor, GCUH, Hyderabad, Pakistan in presence of Mr. James Wong, Manager, IQAC, Ms Hazel, Admin Officer, IQAC of LUC and Dr. Tahira Qureshi of GCUH.

Jom Plogging: Environment-Related Community Program

An environment-related community program named Jom Plogging was organized by Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ) and MPP ZON 22 on December 18, 2021 at Taman Tasik Bandaran, Kelana Jaya. The community program was attended by 10 students from Lincoln University College, Malaysia as the representative from the College.

This environment-based event has importance to raise awareness about and environmental quality. The program also helps future generations to control their lives and prosper the future.

Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia choose LUC as Examination Centre for Final Year Malaysian Dental Students

Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) of Malaysia and Cultural Education Attache of Indonesia in Malaysia (KBRI) proudly choose Faculty of Dentistry, Lincoln University College, Malaysia as the centre for the final examination of Malaysian students of Dentistry at Indonesia due to COVID. The Malaysian students would not be able to attend the examination in Indonesia, which is why MoHE conducted the examination in Malaysia for the second time. Lincoln University College have been honored to work together with the MoHE and Attache Education Indonesia to provide lab and equipment to smoothen the process of the examination.

The examination was attended by Dr. Mokhammad Farid Maruf, Cultural Attache of Indonesian Embassy, En. Shahrul Fazli Abu Hassan & Ms. Salina Mokhtar, Senior Assistant Director at Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia and President Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, Pro-Chancellor Datuk Dr. Hjh Bibi Florina Abdullah, CEO, Dato Ambassador, Dr. Mohd Yusoff A Bakar and Dean of Dentistry Prof. Dato Dr. Pushparajan Perianna Pillai, Prof. Dr. Rasheed Al-Maqtari, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Dentistry, Lincoln University College, Ms. Lina Tio, International Marketing for Indonesia.

The exam has been conducted successfully.

Asian & 3rd Global Wound Conference 2021-Wound Wars

The students of Post Graduate Woundacare Management of Lincoln University College, Malaysia along with Madam Rosy binti Abdul Rashid, Coordinator attended ‘Asian & 3rd Global Wound Conference 2021 – Wound Wars May the Cure Be with You’ organized by the Malaysian Society of Wound Care Professional headed by the President Prof. Dr. Harikrishna K.R. Nair on December 3-5, 2021 at Sunway Pyramid Convention Center, Subang Jaya, Malaysia.

Madam Rosy binti Abdul Rashid delivered speech on Woundcare Education in Malaysia. She also received a certificate from YBhg. Khairy Jamaluddin, Minister of Health, Malaysia. Prof. Dr. Harikrishna K.R. Nair delivered keynote speech.
